The children are on holidays and so are in a great mood. I arrive and many rush to grab my hand and lead me to the cooking site. Other children offer their hands eager to get a handshake. Several children bring their shyer brothers and sisters for handshakes or photos. They are so joyous, friendly, orderly, and polite.
The food is excellent today. The vegetable curry is flavored just right for the Indian palate (spicy). The puris are too hot to even hold, so you have to wait for them cool down. And the bananas are perfect, not over ripe as is the tendency in the local market place. Today, Just One and ASMITA, our local distribution team, feed 250 children.
